We usually guess the smaller size and it usually works. Please call us for a fit consult and we will do the best we can to help you get dialed in right the first time.
Our Huaraches are NOT unisex sizing. See the conversions below:
- MEN to Women —— ADD 1.5 size to your men’s size. EXAMPLE: Men’s 7 = Women’s 8.5
- WOMEN to MEN —— Subtract 1.5 size to your women’s size. EXAMPLE: Men’s 10.5 = Women’s 12.0
You may need adjust 1/2 size in either direction to get dialed in properly.
This is just a guide that has worked in the past. There is no guarantee that this will work.
Yes we do make wides for women. We do not make wides for men. Women’s Wides are a D-Width which is a Men’s B-Medium Width in ladies sizing. If you don’t normally order wides you are most likely not a wide with us.

Yes you can.
You can fill out our online return/exchange form or you can simply write return/exchange instructions on your order receipt.
Shoes must be in salable condition. Please make sure that you keep track of your return tracking number in case something happens to it during the return process.

We are sorry but we simply cannot offer free returns/exchanges. You will have to pay for the return shipping back to us.
NO! Getting them wet and shrinking them is for when they’re too big and don’t fit properly. If you get them wet you won’t be able to return/exchange them. We used American sizing when we re-engineered these from the ground up for a superior fit. Remember SNUG at first. Any area that is loose will only get looser.
SNUG? – your Brand X Huaraches should fit snug at first too accommodate the break in period. They will stretch! Think first time worn socks. Snug, a little tight but then after one wear they’re shaped to your foot. PS. Your huaraches might take a little bit longer than one wear.

These are a natural handmade product. Each batch of leather is slightly different so slight color variations are normal. We do our best to change the photos to show the latest variation of the color.
No. All our shoes are shipped from Oakland, California. We do our best to ship all shoes same day. During busy season (April – August) it can take us a bit longer. We do not pre-sell shoes that we don’t have in stock. That being said we do have some inventory errors from time to time.
We ship via USPS Priority Mail. Items usually arrive in 2-3 business days.
