FOUNDER’S BLOG – Why so expensive?

One of our  most frequently  asked questions is: “Why are Brand X Huaraches so expensive?”  The short answer is; they are not!  In fact, Brand X Huaraches are by far the least expensive huaraches on the market by a wide margin.

Huh? Yes, it’s true our huaraches are the least costly huaraches because they are simply the highest quality authentic Mexican Huaraches you can buy. You will go through at least 10 pairs of any other huaraches while you are enjoying just one pair of Brand X Huaraches. In fact, many of our loyal customers have reported to us that they have been wearing the same pair of Brand X Huaraches every Summer for 25 years or longer.

How is that possible?  It’s because from the bottom up, we use only the very highest quality materials. Starting at the bottom our durable, flexible, and lightweight outsoles are compression molded from the highest quality polyurethane into our exclusive sole design molds. Above the sole, there is a layer of rubberized EVA cushioning which always springs back up after being squished down by your weight. Then above that and right below the leather insole is another layer of super springy polyurethane. Above that, your feet will be standing on a high-quality vegetable-tanned leather insole. Every pair of our huaraches are woven by hand right to their leather insoles with a single unending strand of the same high-quality leather.
